HEALTH & INJURIES

By taking part in one of our classes you accept that neither the instructor, nor Bayleaf Yoga is liable for any injury, or damages, to person, resulting from the taking of a class.

It is the responsibility of the student to inform the teacher of any injuries or changes in health at the start of class. Yoga is not a substitute for medical attention so if in doubt please consult a medical professional prior to beginning any activity programme such as yoga.

If at any time during the class, you feel discomfort or strain, you are advised to come out of the posture and notify the instructor. It is important in yoga that you listen to your body and respect its limits on any given day.

It is the responsibility of the student to inform the teacher of any operations or surgical procedures in the past six months. If you are pregnant or have given birth within the last three months please inform the teacher at the start of class. Teachers have the right to refer students back to their GP – we are not being mean - this is for your own health & safety!

If you would like to discuss any health issues prior to starting a yoga practice please contact ashley@bayleafyoga.com.
